Responsible Gemstones
Mazahri sources all of its colored stones from trusted partners that ensure fully traceable gemstones from artisanal and small-scale (ASM) miners who are paid fair wages, afforded decent health and safety standards, and consider the environmental impact of their extractive activities.
Fairmined Gold
Mazahri is a Fairmined Gold licensed brand and only uses Fairmined gold in the production of our jewelry. Fairmined is a third-party assurance label certifying gold from empowered responsible artisanal and small-scale mining organizations. Gold with this label meets world leading standards for responsible practices.
Canadamark Diamonds
Mazahri uses only Canadamark diamonds which are certified to be responsibly mined in Canada’s Northwest Territories with respect for the sustainability of the natural environment and people living in the community.
Conscious Fine Jewelry that Empowers
Turquoise Mountain
All Mazahri jewelry boxes are made from sustainably harvested walnut wood in Afghanistan and hand carved by skilled artisans in collaboration with Turquoise Mountain, a nonprofit working in Afghanistan to restore built heritage, support local communities, revive the the country's historic craft traditions, and generate incomes for artisans.
Women for Afghan Women
Mazahri is a proud advocate for the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan and we are proud to donate 10% of all profits to Women for Afghan Women International, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of Afghan women and girls.
Zarif Design
Mazahri’s silk jewelry pouches are hand dyed, woven, and stitched by master artisans in collaboration with Zarif, an Afghan fashion brand using fashion as an intermediary to empower communities of weavers, tailors and embroiderers with a vision of “reviving the tradition and shaping the future.”
